Having worked on a previous project for our client, when they bought this Grade II Listed farmhouse they once again asked Woodlouse Conservation to carry out restoration works. An inappropriate cement render had been applied over the traditional Somerset stone fabric of the property, causing damp issues. The team replaced this with a ‘Scrape & Bag’ lime render decorated in fully breathable mineral silicate paint. Further various internal works also followed.
