External renovation works on this Grade II Listed 15th Century farmhouse were last carried out in 1921, so it was in great need of some TLC. Once the old render was removed some structural repairs were required, notably some strapping around one of the chimneys. The entire property was then covered in a three-coat lime render with a traditional ‘Scrape & Bag’ finish, followed by fully breathable mineral silicate decoration works. The job was finished with a second carved date stone to log the new refurbishment.
