This fireplace restoration was part of a complete building refurbishment carried out by Woodlouse Conservation. Once the relatively modern fireplace was removed, the stonework was restored and a reclaimed oak beam installed. Complimentary lime pointing and plaster works followed, together with the addition of a new slate hearth, which resulted in a fireplace much more in-keeping with the age of the property.
