We were presented with an amazing project to restore this beautiful 17th century folly. The folly required lime pointing, plaster, render and mortar repair works. The curved heads to the three decorative apertures were stabilised to keep as much as we could and the rest re-instated to match. Part of this process involved making a bespoke steaming chamber so we could bend timber dowel to achieve the beaded curve.
