Our client presented us with an out-dated dark, damp room which required specialist remedial works and the addition of some much needed character. Once the room was stripped out, we sourced and installed a magnificent elm beam across the ceiling, re-pointed the fireplace itself and laid down a local slate hearth. Full lime plaster works and a new woodburner finished the restoration of this now beautiful room.
